Carbonation with CO2

CO2 (carbon dioxide) carbonation or fizz is the process of dissolving CO2 in carbonated soft drinks, sparkling water and beers. It gives them their refreshing taste sensations.

The process usually involves carbonation of CO2 under pressure. The CO2 is released as small bubbles, which give carbonated drinks their sparkling or fizzy effect. In addition, CO2 carbonation impedes fungi and bacteria growth.

ACP’s roots are in CO2 carbonation and have been for 120 years

ACP started producing and delivering CO2 for the carbonation of sparkling water as long ago as 1897.
We can claim without contradiction that ACP’s roots are in carbonation, with 120 years’ expertise.
