ACP installs recuperation unit with extra capacity of 700 t CO2/month and reduces its carbon footprint

Due to its continuous growth in dry ice, ACP decided to invest in a new recuperation unit in its dry ice production department in Belgium which has a capacity of 7 t of dry ice/hour. This recuperation unit collects CO2 gas and turns it into liquid CO2 again. This results in an extra available CO2 capacity of 700 t/month which strengthens ACP’s delivery guarantee towards its customers and includes a reduction of its carbon footprint because of less road transport of liquid CO2 and less CO2 emission during the production of dry ice.
