ACP Belgium - Dry ice production

Dry ice (Carboglace®) is CO2 in solid form. When liquid CO2 is expanded at atmospheric pressure, 50% turns into gaseous CO2 while the other 50% turns into CO2 snow. The CO2 snow is compressed in high-pressure presses, resulting in dry ice blocks or pellets. Our dry ice production unit consists of 4 presses and 4 pelletizers with an approximate total capacity of 5 t/h.
