Dry ice (Carboglace^®) is CO₂ in solid form. When liquid CO₂ is expanded at atmospheric pressure, 50% turns into gaseous CO₂ while the other 50% turns into CO₂ snow. The CO₂ snow is compressed in high-pressure presses, resulting in dry ice blocks or pellets. Our dry ice production unit consists of 6 presses and 2 pelletizers with an approximate total capacity of 1,65 t/h.
